Prof. Shekhar VermaIIIT Allahabad, India Prof. Shekhar Verma has received his BTech, MTech and PhD from IIT BHU, Varanasi. He is currently working as a Professor of Information Technology and also as a Dean of Special Development Affairs at the IIIT Allahabad. He has published more than 100 research papers in reputed refereed International Journals and more than 80 papers in international conferences. He has supervised 20 PhD scholars and handled many R&D projects. He is a member of the “Machine Learning and Optimization Group” at IIIT Allahabad. His research interests include dimensionality reduction, manifold regularization, privacy preserving machine learning and deep learning technique, computer networks, wireless sensor networks, wireless networks, information and network security, vehicular technology, and cryptography. |
Dr. Neetesh SaxenaCardiff University, United Kingdom Dr. Neetesh Saxena is currently an Associate Professor in Cyber Security with the School of Computer Science and Informatics at Cardiff University, UK with 16+ years of teaching/research experience. Before joining CU, he was an Assistant Professor at Bournemouth University, UK. Prior to this, Dr. Saxena was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, and with the Department of Computer Science, Stony Brook University, USA and SUNY Korea. He was a DAAD Scholar at Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology (B-IT), Rheinische-Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität, Bonn, Germany and also a TCS Research Scholar. His current research interests include cyber security and critical infrastructure security, including cyber-physical system security: smart grid, V2G and communication networks. |
Dr. Sushmita RujUniversity of New South Wales, Australia Dr. Sushmita Ruj is currently a Senior Lecturer in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, UNSW, Sydney. She completed her PhD and Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Prior to joining UNSW, she was a Senior Research Scientist in CSIRO's Data61 (2019-2022) and Assistant and Associate Professor at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. She started her academic career as an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore. Dr. Ruj is on the editorial boards of Elsevier Journal Pervasive and Mobile Computing (PMC) and Elsevier Journal of Information Security and Applications (JISA). She has served as Program Co-Chairs for ACISP 2021 and Indocrypt 2020. She served as a member of the working group on “Blockchain For Cybersecurity” working group of the National Blockchain Roadmap of Australia and as a member of Trans-Tasman Initiative on Post Quantum Cryptography research. She has won several competitive grants like Samsung GRO Award, NetApp Faculty Fellowship, Cisco Academic Grant and IBM Research grant. She is a senior member of ACM and IEEE. Primary research interests of Dr. Ruj are in applied cryptography, post-quantum cryptography, cybersecurity, blockchains and data privacy. |
Dr. Shashank SrivastavaMotilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, India Dr. Shashank Srivastava has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, India since 2012. He received the B.Tech degree in computer science and engineering from UP Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2006, the M.S. degree from IIIT Allahabad, India, in 2009, and the Ph.D degree in security of mobile agent from IIIT Allahabad, India, in 2014. He has published several research papers in the area of network and security in reputed journals and conferences. He has successfully completed guided 5 PhD and 24 MTech students and presently guiding 3 PhD students in the field of software defined networking (SDN), named data networking (NDN), network flow optimization and security. He has the Membership of IEEE, ACM, CSI, and CRSI (Cryptographic Research Society of India). He has served as the secretary of the computer society of India Allahabad chapter. His research interests include software defined networks, named data networking, network flow optimization and security, information security, and future Internet technologies. |
Dr. Soumyadev MaityIIIT Allahabad, India Dr. Soumyadev Maityis founder of the FOG-CPS Security lab at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad. He is an Assistant Professor in information technology with the IIIT-A, Prayagraj, India. He has been with the institute, since 2017, and is also associated with the Network Security Laboratory, IIIT-A. Prior to joining IIIT-A, he was a Visiting Scientist with the Advanced Computing and Microelectronics Unit, ISI, Kolkata, and a Postdoctoral Fellow with the NIT, Rourkela. He was also a full-time Lecturer with the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata, for more than a year. He has published numerous articles in reputed international journals, including the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON NETWORK SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, Vehicular Communications, and Computer Networks etc. He has also authored more than 30 international conference papers in reputed venues in the field of network security, like AINA, COMSNETS, INDICON, ICDCN etc. His research interests include applied cryptography, quantum and post-quantum cryptography, network security, cyber-physical systems security, cloud data security, software security, and anomaly detection systems. He is also a reviewer for reputed international journals, such as the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INFORMATION FORENSICS AND SECURITY, IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL, IEEE ACCESS, and Journal of Information Security and Applications etc. |
