About: Prof. Neetesh Purohit is a Professor in electronics and communication with the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, Prayagraj, India. He has more than 17 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. His research work has been published in many reputed journals including IEEE Transactions, IEEE Journals, IEEE Signal Processing letters, etc. He has undertaken 8 ambitious academic and consultancy projects. He works in the field of wireless networks, physical layer security, signal processing, and IoT. Under working professional mode Reliance Jio Infocomm Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai has assigned manpower and resources to him for, “Prototypes Development for Commercial Application(s) of IoT” wherein security in IoT networks is a major concern. While developing AVIRAL software for implementing CCLCAA ordinance of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, Dr. Purohit has undertaken analysis of security vulnerabilities, and has incorporated innovative security measures in AVIRAL software. He shared this approach as an example while delivering the talk on 'Exploring the Cyber Security Measures', 2nd IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ADVANCES IN COMPUTING, COMMUNICATION CONTROL and NETWORKING (ICAC3N-20), 18-19th December 2020, Galgotias Educational Institutes, Noida, India.
About: Dr. Venkatesan is the founder member of the Network Security and Cryptography Research Lab at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. His interest in research is on Applied Cryptography, Blockchain Technology, Network & Information Security. During his PhD he has developed an efficient model to secure the mobile agent as well as mobile agent platform. He has guided more than 20 Undergraduate and Postgraduate semester projects and produced two PhD students in the area of Network & Information Security. A PhD student is at the verge of completing her PhD thesis titled “Development of Lightweight Authentication and Fault Tolerance Models for Untrusted Environment”. He worked in a Collaborative Directed Basic research on Smart and Secure Environment (SSE) project funded by National Technical Research Organization (NTRO), New Delhi as Research/Scientific Associate for 2.2 years. During which he developed a model for Digital Display Content Copying Protection and Denial of Service prevention. At present working on IoT Security, Lightweight Authentication and Optimized blockchain technology. He is the PI for the project titled “Development of Secure IoT communication using the Blockchain Technology” from Interdisciplinary Cyber Physical System, Department of Science and Technology.
About: Dr. Maity is founder of the FOG-CPS Security lab at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad. He is an Assistant Professor in information technology with the IIIT-A, Prayagraj, India. He has been with the institute, since 2017, and is also associated with the Network Security Laboratory, IIIT-A. Prior to joining IIIT-A, he was a Visiting Scientist with the Advanced Computing and Microelectronics Unit, ISI, Kolkata, and a Postdoctoral Fellow with the NIT, Rourkela. He was also a full-time Lecturer with the Guru Nanak Institute of Technology, Kolkata, for more than a year. He has published numerous articles in reputed international journals, including the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON NETWORK SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, Vehicular Communications, and Computer Networks etc. He has also authored more than 30 international conference papers in reputed venues in the field of network security, like AINA, COMSNETS, INDICON, ICDCN etc. His research interests include applied cryptography, quantum and post-quantum cryptography, network security, cyber-physical systems security, cloud data security, software security, and anomaly detection systems. He is also a reviewer for reputed international journals, such as the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INFORMATION FORENSICS AND SECURITY, IEEE SENSORS JOURNAL, IEEE ACCESS, and Journal of Information Security and Applications etc.
